WALKING WHAT?!?! Our weekend recap..

This weekend has gone by way to fast. It’s 11:49pm on Sunday night and I’m sitting here trying to stay awake and thinking how I wish it was the start of the weekend again. Lonnie has to leave for work at 12:30am so I’m staying up so I can get him off to work. Plus by the time I had all my nightly stuff done (kitchen clean, clothes folded ect. ) It was all ready 11pm. Lonnie has to wake up at 12am, so Lonnie would have woke be up anyways.

We really didn’t do much this weekend. We tried to go do our taxes and that didn’t work out as we planned. Normally in the past, we go to H&R block fill out all the stuff and get some of our money on the card they give up and then in a couple of days you get the rest. Well, that’s not the case this year. Because, there are so many changes, example filling in every start your worked, which you have never had to do before ( or we haven’t because the company is based out of Ga). So since Lonnie has worked in different states we have to fill with every state which is going to take some it and really SUCKS ASS. I’m so ready for it to be over with plus this momma needs a new dryer and washer to go along with it. To be honest that’s the real reason I was mad. I had planned to go pick out a washer and dryer set after we were done and it didn’t work out. Damnit I want my washer and dryer! Lol Its funny the things you get excited out when you get older! Besides from being old our washer is fine, but our dryer is a pain in the butt. All of the snaps on Haley’s clothes get stick in the wheel I guess plus any zipper, button or anything else for that matter.

THE BEST PART OF THIS WEEKEND WAS…Haley started walking!!!! She has been pulling up, letting go and take a step here and there for a while. She would even walk holding on to stuff, but this weekend she just decided to stand up on her own and take off and watch out because you haven’t been able to stop here!! She is all over the place and she gets so excited! Its been a joy to watch her but on the same time it’s kind of sad. I miss my teeny tiny baby that couldn’t lift her head up and I could just hold and love on all day/night. Although, I can’t wait to watch her grow and learn.

So that’s been our weekend watching Haley walk all over the place and just relaxing and spending time together as a family. I will post some pictures below of our weekend.

Cleaning Cleaning Cleaning

Today my parents came and took Haley for a couple of hours. They like to get her once a week to spend time with her. I really didn’t like it at first, but now the older she gets the more It works for us. It gives me time to do some cleaning that’s harder to do when she is here. Example scrubs the toilets and tubs and things like that. I don’t use bleach for a lot of things but I like to clean my bathroom with it and I don’t like to do that when she is crawling all around.

I have a cleaning schedule that I try to keep to. I found it on Pintrest and I just made my own version of it ( I’ll post it below if I can figure out how). I found when Haley was first born that I couldn’t keep up with anything in house and I was getting to the point where I was overwhelmed and would break down. With Lonnie’s job he is gone a lot so it’s mostly me and Haley here by ourselves. He gets a day to a day and a half off every week but that’s about it than the rest of the time he is gone. Anyways I found it and changed it to fit my needs and it has stuff for you to do every morning, night and day then one day out of the week is your “swing day” which is where you would do something that is considered to be “deep clearing” I guess such as shampoo the carpet, clean out fridge, stove, and microwave, things like that. It works great for me. I printed it out, put it in a sheet protector and keep in on the fridge so I can mark it off throughout the day makes me feel like I am accomplishing something.

So today with Haley being gone for a couple of hours I got a ton of stuff done. When my parents do get her I try to go ahead and get as much on the list done that way the next day I don’t have to do the “Chore of the day” and things like that. That way I get more time with Haley and when she is down for a nap more time more me! Tomorrow I will have to do the morning and night stuff ( it’s things you do every day and to be honest it things that you would do anyway or I would anyways.) My list of accomplishments today were I got both bathrooms cleaned top form bottom, all of the floors vacuumed, all of the floors swept and mopped, I cleaned(bleached) Haley’s bath toys ( I just fill my tube ½ with hot water add just a little bleach and let them soak. It gets all the nasty soap stuff off of them. Then you just rinse them and put them up.) All of the dishes washed and put up, counters wiped off, sink cleaned. Plus I put up a YouTube video. I went and took a very long shower (which is soooooo nice) and filmed a couple of more vlogs. I have one load of clothes that needs to be done and then my house is clean! I did a bunch of the heavy cleaning last week when they got her for a couple of hours. Such as cleaning out the fridge, stove, microwave, dusted, cleaned all the windows and fans. Things like that.

Anyways, I think I am rambled enough about cleaning. It’s almost time for me to get Haley so I think I am going to kick back and watch some tv before I got get her.

 

 

TTC Baby Number 2!!

I really didn't want to wait anymore to put this video up so here it is.. the video should explain everything we are/aren't doing Ttc. Although I did leave some stuff out that I wanted to say. We aren't using any ovulation meds anytime soon. As of right now we are just going to try the natural way. I'm most likely going to buy some OPK's (ovulation test) to see if in fact I am O'ing and track that for a little while. If we still aren't pregnant in 6 months and I'm not O'ing then we will go from there and decided  if  we want to go back to the fertility dr. I have said though that if we aren't pregnant  ( or don't have any more kids) by the time Haley is 5 then I'm done. By the time she is 5 that would put us ttc for 4 more years. I think at that point I would be done. I know things can change and who knows I might change my mind but as of right now thats what I'm thinking. I also don't want us to get so wrapped up in ttc that it takes away from Haley and her time. TTC was stressful to me and for us and I don't what her to have to go through any of that with us. No Sleep For This Momma

Before we went out of town last week Haley slept thought the night every night. She would go to bed anywhere from 8-9pm and sleep till 7-8am and would not wake up at all.. I don’t know what has happen or what has changed but that is no longer happening. She wakes up every 30mins to 1hr crying and yelling momma. Sometimes I will give her a min or two and see if she will put herself back to sleep but if not I go get her, sway back and forth in front of the crib for about a min or so give her a kiss and put her back down. She will roll over and go right to sleep every time. Then at about 5am she is wanting to breastfeed and goes right back to sleep and does the same thing till about 7. This has been going on for almost a week now and the no sleep is starting to get to me. Maybe she is just teething or something?! I don’t know. I don’t see anything or feel anything as far as teething goes.

Besides from the no sleep I have been in full party planning mode. Haley’s 1^st Birthday is in 39 days!  I can’t believe my beautiful baby girl is going to be 1 in 39 days!! We are having a birthday party for her on her Birthday since it falls on a Saturday. We are doing a ladybug theme which is so cute and fits perfect because we call her Haley Bug all the time! I’ll post pictures of things I’m doing later. That way you can get a idea of what we are doing and what we are going to have!! It’s so exciting!

I know it Tuesday and I swear I did these videos yesterday but YouTube took forever to process them. When I went to bed last night at almost 1 am( due to my child not wanting to sleep)it was still uploading. So here is my reintroduction video.

Sunday...

Well it’s Sunday again.. I think I have come to dread Sundays! Lonnie normally leaves for work on Sundays and it just means 4-5 days without him! I miss him so much when he isn’t here and I know Haley misses him too. Plus she is at this age where every time he leaves she will cry for a little while and crawl around saying “daddy. It breaks my heart because I know she doesn’t understand what’s going on.

When Lonnie does leave I plan on sitting down and doing some YouTube videos. Hopefully Haley will be willing to play for a little while. She hasn’t been in the best of moods today. It took us forever to get her down for nap. Which isn’t like her at all, normally I can put her down she will roll over on her stomach and go to sleep. There are so many videos I want to do. I want to do a reintroduction video for all my new subscribers. I need to do an update on Haley and what she can do now. I also need to do an update on ttc baby number two! I love saying that..TTC baby number 2!!

Anyways this is going to have to be a short blog post. It’s a little after 2:00pm and I have to cook some lunch (we had a late breakfast) and get ready for Lonnie to leave. He has to leave at 4:30L.
